Walmart unveiled plans to expand its use of artificial intelligence and drones to improve customers’ shopping experiences. The retail giant is expanding its drone delivery service to an additional 1.8 million households in Dallas-Fort Worth and introducing several AI-driven initiatives. The initiatives include a generative AI-powered search tool for iOS, an “InHome Replenishment” service to automate grocery restocking and a virtual platform for outfit creation.
